The 2004 season's biggest change was the addition of Jan's talents to the Wenches.  I managed to see them both at the beginning and end of the Faire season, and adding a third voice was exactly what they needed.  Allowing Jan meant that the Wenches had more volume for the Biergarten, and the ability to perform complex, fascinating songs.  Especially in the Biergarten, the Wenches added such favorites (of mine) as The Fields of Athenry, Loch Lomond, and I'll tell me Ma.  Don't fret - as Jennifer said, "We're not just all sweet, y'know."
