In any article, headline, or position statement that includes the word "homosexual", substitute a group of your choice. Options that work well include "black", "Christian", "hispanic", or republican". Whichever group you belong to.

If those altered statements suddenly strike you as being ludicrous, discriminatory, or just plain wrong...

...the first statement probably was too.
